The Kaiju Series is the newest collection of hand forged knives from The Cooking Guild. Each knife is thoughtfully crafted using traditional Japanese San Mai construction, which is the same method once used to create samurai swords.

The blades feature a core of Japanese SLD tool steel combined with outer layers of AUS 8 stainless steel. This combination delivers excellent sharpness, strength, and rust resistance.

Kaiju’s pakkawood handle is ergonomic and perfectly weighted. You get lasting comfort and full control, even during long prep sessions.

No. Kaiju blades are primarily stainless steel, with only the cutting edge made from high carbon steel. This San Mai construction gives you the best of both worlds. The high carbon core delivers incredible sharpness and edge retention while the outer stainless steel layers protect the blade from corrosion.

Kaiju Knives are currently available on pre order. Production is nearing completion and orders are expected to begin shipping in late October or early November. All knives will be dispatched from our warehouse in Salt Lake City, USA through USPS.
